Last Day of Home School Co-op

Today was a day of mixed emotions….It was the last day of our home school co-op ‘til August. I’m glad for the break, it will give me more time for the garden and stuff I need to do around the house, but I sure will miss my Tuesday time with my girls!

This is a fantastic bunch of women and I am blessed to have them in my life! I will miss them over the summer…looking forward to the pre-planning meetings ladies! ;-)

My 18 year old son came for last day pizza lunch. DSC_0033 ! He has joined us for lunch several times this year…made my day each time! :)

Today was a day of signing yearbooks and class parties:

I have taught a 3rd-5th class on Georgia and Georgia History using a lap book approach. 107_1001

We had a Georgia foods party: 107_1003 Home made peach cobbler, peanuts and peanut better cookies, and Coca-Cola…and some delicious homemade cookies and brownies.

Here is my class…they are the most awesome bunch ever! I couldn’t have asked for a better group! They soaked up information, helped each other, and were so “into” what we studied that it amazed me!

This was our families first year at co-op and it has been an awesome experience for us!We will be going back next year!
